SilverHolder Car LED Strip Installation Guide

Test the product before installation

Use the car battery as the power source.

Car batteries are located in different places in different vehicles. Most models hold the battery under the bonnet in one of the front corners. However, some batteries are located in the car boot to balance weight distribution. Check your vehicle handbook to find the location of your model’s battery.

Once you’ve checked your handbook, the car battery should be easy to identify. Look for a black, box-shaped battery with two large cables connected to the top. These cables are the positive and negative electrical terminals. Most car batteries measure around 6 by 10 inches, so you shouldn’t be able to miss yours.

Method 1. Red wire to Car ACC  / Black wire to a ground / Yellow wire to the turn signal

Method 2. Red wire to Low Beams  / Black wire to turn signal ground / Yellow wire to the turn signal

My car (21 Corolla) has Bi- LED headlights (low and high beam come from the same light controlled by a flap in LED module.) the headlights also are Daytime Running Lights (during the day they run at a dimmer output). On my headlight harness coming from the car, there are 3 separate wires one for low, one for high, and one for DRL. However since they are all connected to power the same LED, even though I originally tapped into the low beam wire, my LED strip would also turn on even during the day when only my DRLs were on. It depends on your vehicle.
